I am a self taught Fiber Artist and a Certified Artisan with the Department of Tourism of
Puerto Rico. I have 20 years of painting experience which encompass from Acrylic and
Watercolor painting, to painting and dyeing Silk. As the owner of "Hand Dyed Silk by
Marina", I design and dye all of the scarves at this site.

I reside near breathtaking lush mountains
and beautiful coastal waters. The sweet
sound of the Coqui wakes me up in the
morning and lulls me to sleep at night. This

All of the scarves are 100% Silk fabrics. I use China Silk Habotai fabric for all the "Batik" scarves. The
"Tie-dye" scarves are of Chiffon Silk. The "Silk Painting " scarves are Silk Charmeuse and Flat Crepe
Silk. All of the mini sarongs and the "Wall Art" pieces are in China Silk Habotai fabric and can be
mounted between two pieces of Plexiglas for a spectacular wall display.
