Tie-Dye - Chiffon Silk
Tie-dyed fabric remnants reveal a history that probably began in
ancient Asia and spread to Malaya and across Africa. Examples also
exist from Thailand and Cambodia indication that it spread from
there to Indonesia. The earliest tie-dyes on the American
continent date from the pre-Columbian times.
Each tie-dye silk scarf design in this section is created on Chiffon
Silk.
